Billy and Me

"In this utterly sweet and moving women's fiction novel, a celebrity comes to town and sweeps a young woman - who is used to being overlooked - off her feet.

Sophie May is content with her life in her small English village, working in the local coffee shop and living with her mom. But when famous actor Billy comes to town to play Mr. Darcy in a new film adaptation of Pride and Prejudice, Sophie's quiet life is quickly turned on its head. Billy is adored by women around the world, but he only wants Sophie on his arm. But being with Billy comes at a price, and Sophie is thrown in the spotlight after years of shying away from attention. Can she handle the constant scrutiny that comes with being with Billy?

Brimming with humor, wit, and genuine warmth, Billy and Me is a book about taking a chance on life and on love."

Billy and Me was a book that a Youtuber that I follow -  Zoella had in her 2016 book club, so of course I had to read it! If you are interested in seeing what other books she had in her book club click right here. She has AMAZING taste in books, I've read about half of the books that are on here and am planning on reading them all.

About the book though, I simply fell in love with Sophie and Billy. I adore both of their characters, and I adored this book. Not only is this book about love, but it is about friendship, loss, finding yourself, and keeping ahold of your dreams and not losing sight of what you want out of life. This story was so beautiful! It made me laugh, it made my cry, and there were a few cases where I wished I could punch a character or two in the face.

I love books that have a strong message behind them, and Billy and Me excels in that category. It really shows you that an ordinary girl can do some pretty extraordinary things. That loss happens, and it sucks, but it really makes you a stronger person. And finally, to it's core, it is a beautiful love story.

PLEASE go and read this book!!! Tell me how you like it! I promise, you will not be disappointed!
