When people ask me what my favorite book of all time is, without hesitation I can tell you that this is my favorite book. If someone is looking for a new book to read, you betcha, I recommend this book. Even if friends aren't looking for a new read, I made sure they know how much I recommend this book.
I first read The Truth About Forever by Sarah Dessen in either 10th or 11th grade. Since then I have read it at least once a year every single year without fail. There's something so beautiful about this book, sometimes I can describe what makes me like this book so much, and other times, there are no words for why I love this book so much.
It is a book about loss, and Macey's journey to not only find happiness again, but to really find herself. The characters in this book are outstanding, I find myself wanting to be friends with almost every one of the characters in real life.
If you haven't read this book, YOU NEED TO. It will change your life, I guarantee you will not be disappointed.

Twilight first came out when I was 15 years old. As with many other teen girls, and even grown adults, I became OBSESSED with the world of Twilight I was part of many fansites, read as much fan fiction as I could, and hung on every word that Stephenie Meyer wrote.
This book was a major part of my teenage years, especially through high school. I could identify so much with Bella, that quite honestly, in my fangirl state, the lines blurred between my reality and what went on in the little town of Forks, Washington.
While overall I really hated how the series ended, I will never forget the feeling I had the first time I read Twilight, this book captivated me. While the writing wasn't anything out of this world, it was a book that I could bury myself in, and quite honestly I loved every single character. Twilight and it's fandom brought me a lot more than just a love of vampires, it brought me closer to a small group of amazing girls that I met on fansites, and it even marks my first tattoo - a small apple on my shoulder that I got while I was in AZ for a Twilight convention.
I find myself reading this book about once a year, sometimes I'll read it on its own, and other times I will read the whole series. I have to include this as part of my all time faves, because of the joy that it brought my 15 year old self, and all of the amazing experiences I had because of this book.
